A 19 YEARS OLD and a fourth-year elementary education student of Southern Mindanao Colleges (SMC), Pagadian City bagged the coveted title of Miss Zamboanga del Sur 2009 during the coronation night held at the Provincial Government Center, Dao, this city last Sept. 13.
Miss Jeany Rose A. Joromat of Brgy. San Pedro, this city captured the crown from out of 23 candidates coming from different municipalities in the province.
She received a P25-T cash prize, a sash plus trophy and additional P2-T cash prize for winning the best Ethnic Inspired Attire.
In a press conference called by City Mayor Sammy Co over the weekend, the latter congratulated and promised to give P18-T cash to Ms. Joromat as a token of gratitude from the city government.

im sad that mr. ariosa was not able to win the governatorial race in zambo sur. And to Governor elect Gov. Auring Cerilles hinaut pa untra nga ipadayon nmo ang imo nga ansugdan nga proyekto para sa probensia sa Zamboanga del sur, nag hinaot sad ko nga walay mga corruption in this province.
